Due to responses of last weeks show I have decided to wait till next weeks episode to do customization, and to do a tips show this week. I received some e-mails during the week about the back up portion of last weeks episode. In the e-mails people had mentioned that they had not thought of how important a back up was and had also asked about Fire Fox, the web browser. It is surprising how man people still think that the "E" on the windows task bar is the Internet ad not just a browser that lets you surf.

Thought this doesn't relate to Ubuntu in particular, I will talk about certain open source programs that are available for Window users and hopefully this will get people thinking alternatives to proprietary software.

We will also talk about certain behavior we should practice when using our computers. This will range from firewalls, anti viruses, and surfing the net.
